Todays highlights were Long tailed duck - female on the Mere - most unseasonal! Ruddy Shelduck - female on the Mere - also seen last week. Crossbills - several reported today - c25 yesterday Recent evening seawatches have produced small numbers of manx shearwaters (JP Shaughnessy, R Doan et al), but not tonight (KMW !) Cheers Kev |

The strong North Easterly winds this morning produced some good seabirds: Manx Shearwater 5 (N) (Very Distant) Kittiwake 2 (N) Gannet 11 (N) Fulmar 1 (N) Guillmot 3 (N) Common Scoter 3 (N) Cheers, Richard |
