Spent the afternoon at South Kelsey with the kids at a farm park but I only got a chance for a few minutes birding just before we left. Saw the following in that time.
Swifts - scores House Martin - several Swallows - several Yellowhammer - 3 Tree Sparrow - 2 Jackdaws Rooks
Far in the distance I spotted a large raptor which I presumed was a Buzzard. Was very dark but had a very noticeable white upper tail / rump. Didn't think anything of this but have been looking at details of Buzzards and the white tail seemd to point to RLB.
I don't have enough to be certain either way but am just wondering if there is a possibility of there being a RLB in that area.
