Interesting breakfast for us in Canwick, as well as usual assortment of Blue and Great Tits at feeders, pleaseing to see 1st Greenfinch for a long time, even though we've heard them in the hedges around, they were joined by male Chaffinch, Goldfinches and the highlight in neighbouring trees was a male Blackcap singing and showing really well.

Is there any info suggesting that the Greenfinch population is recovering after the virus??

Trouble is I'm now late!!!!

Just to add a Great Spotted woodpecker has now joined the list. Interesting that it is very skittish and moves away quickly with slightest movement in our kitchen.
