A good day for visible migration - the best day so far this year for swifts and Hirundines including a fine red-rumped swallow south. Raptors passage continues with two red kites south during the morning and three common buzzards, three sparrowhaks, two kestrel, one hobby through.

A mobile stone curlew was found in the morning and settled on the north altings for a short while before dissappearing into the large network of marshes and creeks further north.

Also 8 crossbil continuing a run of regular records for this species.

Cheers

Kev
