Had a wonderful surprise at Manby noon today when 2 Bearded Tits flew into the rushes in front of the hide. They then fed at the waters edge for a few moments before disappearing off. Good news after such a harsh winter |

It's a pity they didn't stop around. There was a good selection of waders at 4pm including 2 Spotshank (1 Manby and 1 Levee Doors)both in different stages of breeding plumage,12 Greenshank (11 Manby 1 LD), 1 Wood Sand Levee Doors, 4 Ruff, 3 LRP, 3 Snipe, 1 Blackwit, 1 Common Sand plus 2 Buzzard. |
