Two hours spent around Star Fen, Heckington on a BTO TTV produced only 28 species, with most birds keeping their heads down. Highlights:

1 Buzzard overhead with another two over towards Heckington, 7 Whitethroat and a pair of Green Woodpeckers, perched up on fence posts at the back of a pony paddock.
