Common Tern 5 Flying overhead in a SE direction. Presumably following the line of the Hobhole towards the Outfall/Marsh. House Marten 17 A dramatic increase in numbers over the last few days suggests our local breeding population has returned. Whitethroat 5 Breeding territory being established on an area of overgrown allotments. As was the case in 2010 breeding established soon afterwards at this location. Kestrel 2 Both male and female in attendance, although I suspect female is already incubating. I am reluctant to disclose precise nest site for obvious reasons, but will continue to record events and submit details later. |
