I may have just had the WTE over my back garden, soaring over Bardney and then headed towards Branston Fen 16:00pm

Biggest thing I have ever seen in over my garden what ever it was.

Having seen the White-tailed Eagle today in the Oxcombe area I can now say that the bird I saw over Bardney was not the Eagle. What I did see was a Very large dark bird with some paler patches in it's tail and under wings that flew with level wings and had obvious fingers showing well. The Eagle seen today was more blotchy in colour and had a rather ragged appearance to it's wing tips and flew with a more floppy beat.
The Bardney bird allthough appeared to be a similar size will remain a mystery.

The eagle was seen this evening sitting in a tree near the fishponds at Ruckford at 8.00 pm it flew to a hedge and was then lost to view. A kite and Quail was also reported in the area but not seen by me.
