Post subject:  Probable Rough Legged Buzzard Temple Wood

This afternoon with Hugh Dorrington. Very pale buzzard with white tail and large black carpal patches over Temple Wood this afternoon. Rose and stooped at one point. Did not see black tail band as we were watching it through the trees. Also about were 3 reeling Grasshopper warblers, 1 pair and another singing Whitethroat, 1 Garden Warbler, lots of Blackcaps, chiffchaffs and Willow warblers, cuckoo, 2 "singing" nuthatches , a pair of Treecreepers, 2 marsh Tits and 2 Common buzzards.
