Grid ref: SK 877 987 : 14.30 - 15.00

Wheatear - 12+
Buzzard - 1
Swallow - 2
Cuckoo - 1
Robin - 1
Mistle Thrush - 1
Blue and Great Tit - 2 of each

Dallison's Plantation [ now private woodlands ]:

Kestrel - 1
Coal Tit - 2

Owlet Car Park:
Buzzard - 1

Laughton Forest [ loads of signs up saying "private woodlands" seen from the road]:

Coal Tit - 1

The entrance to Scotton Common [ Laughton Forest ] on the A159 has a sign up saying " private woodlands", so we didn't enter!

Black Bank: [from Trentside to the farm]17.00 - 17.30

Kestrel - 1
Mallard - 5
Mute Swan - 10

We enjoyed seeing the fall of Wheatears.

Made another visit yesterday [15th , 12.30 - 13.45 ] to the same grid ref to check on the Wheatears... The following were our sightings:

Wheatear - 19
Mipit - 29+ [ they were coming in all the time we were present and so were the Skylark]
Skylark - 23+
Mistle Thrush - 1
Goldfinch - 3
Linnet - 2
The field was alive with birds [and rabbits].

MSQ: 14.10 - 15.30

Blackcap - 1 pair
Reed Bunting - 1m
Pied Wag - 2
GC Grebe - 1
Plus the amazing Stoat episode [ under Mammal section]
