Post subject:  Whisby NP; Nightingale and Sedge Warbler

First singing Nightingale back around the southern side of Coot Lake this morning and 2 Sedge Warbler (1 Thorpe Lake, and 1 at the adjacent N Hykeham Pits at Apex Pit.

What a find and what a place!!!! First visit to Whisby, I snap up my first Nightingale AND I resign from the 'Not Seen a Swallow Yet' Club!!!!

Also 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Oystercatcher, roughly 30 Willow Warblers, 20 Blackcaps, 30 Chiffchaff, 2 Bullfinch and oodles of Sand Martins with Swallows mixed in!

WHOOP!!!!!! :D

Summer's here!!!!! :mrgreen:

Life List now at 197. 3 more and I get that legendary and much-waited-for pizza!!!!!! :D :D

1 little ringed plover and 3 oystercatchers
