On my way to the AGM on 29th March, I garnered (geddit?) Great Grey Shrike for my local patch list. Didn't have a chance to look again for several days and then Pete Short and Mike Pilsworth from RSPB Blacktoft Sands refound it on Sunday 3rd April. I couldn't find it in poor weather yesterday but it was again there at 1500-1530 today. It favours power line wires west of the north end of Carr Lane, near the water tower, at SE839175 but evidently ranges widely and on the 3rd was at one point a mile away SW of Luddington village.
