Chris and Sue showed it to me when I was introduced by Paul, Sandra and Andy in the northern car-park at Gib last Saturday. Someone mentioned the similar bird at Whisby. As I didn't see that bird I would be interested to hear from Grahame Hopwood if the two were similar Incidently Paul had some superb photos of the crossbills |

Andy's beaten me to it (too much time on your hands ![]() As far as I'm aware this is the first time 'Black-headed Blue Tits' have been recorded away from the Whisby/N Hykeham area. Cheers Grahame |

Uncannily how they do look the same Grahame but I am now pondering if its the recessive gene that has caused me to go grey? |
