Today's highlights have included:

Whooper swan 38
Barnacle goose 14
Dark-bellied brent goose c850
Black brant 1
Wigeon c380
Pochard 12
Scaup 2 (male and female)
Marsh harrier 1 f
Sparrowhawk 1 m
Buzzard 1
Rough-legged buzzard 1
Merlin 1 f
Peregrine 1 f
Golden plover c1800
Ruff 12
Snipe 4
Spotted redshank 1

Group of about 15 Fieldfare in hedge circa 17:10. Smaller group of 15 Whoopers arrived for sunset, calling very loudly to each other and about 30 Dunlin mixed in with the large Golden Plover flock.

Coach party from Leicester on reserve for most of the day.

Cold day - should have remembered my gloves! #-o
