On a mild day with a scent of Spring in the air: 34 Barnacle Geese feeding in front of 360 hide, fantastic views Male Scaup in front of reedbed hide 9 Twite on the seabank 1 rather tatty looking Peregrine A possible Little Stint viewed from the 360 hide. Smaller, slimmer (less dumpy) than the Dunlin but could not be seen alongside each other. Pale underneath, dark legs, plain back, straight bill. Feeding action quite different from Dunlin - poked around in short vegetation then sudden sewing machine drilling action - Dunlin were scurrying about on the mud, pecking continuously.
