After hearing a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker drumming (very fast and long) from woods left of RAF Woodhall main gate whilst I was playing golf this morning, I went back this afternoon (as its in my TTV too) but no sighting or further drumming - found a suspect tree though. Did have one Raven fly over South at 1500 hrs. Also recorded: 1 Bullfinch 2 Chaffinch 2 Great Tit 9 Redwing On pits: 12 Pochard 21 Tufted 18 Cormorant 100 Lapwing 90 Greylag Geese |
