Big crowds at Worlaby looking for the short eared owls and today they performed well. I counted six in the air together just before I left at 16:00. I suspect that there were at least 8 to 10. Also there were plenty of buzzards about - at least 8 and 3 kestrels

Highlights after a 3 hr visit this aft:

8 Short-eared Owl
9 Common Buzzard
117 Fieldfare
juv. male Hen Harrier(Came into roost)

In addition we had

2 Treecreeper
2 Goldcrest
5 Shelduck
c70 Lapwing
2 Mute Swan

Yes I forgot that I had a treecreeper too
