Hi,

RSPB Frampton Marsh highlights today;

Glaucous gull - 1st winter on the scrapes at lunchtime, but not later
Whooper swan - 24
Bewick's swan - 10
European white-fronted goose - 18
Scaup - 2
Wigeon - 500
Golden Plover - 1000

Whoopers, Bewicks and White fronted geese today plus loads of Golden Plover and one Grey Plover. One Marsh Harrier over saltmarsh and Hen Harrier(seen by others not me).
No sign of Scaup, Twite or Laplands despite spending the whole day on the reserve and saltmarsh.

Nonetheless a very pleasant day with some good birds, met some nice folk and enjoyed that mega rarity this year - bright sunshine :D :D
