2 Tundra Beans today and the GWF -- considering that most people in Lincs will not have seen the latter species in the county and considering how much moaning goes on when info is not released I saw 2 birders there this afternoon -- maybe everyone had been and gone in the morning

Two neck collared Pinks present in the flock PCN has been there most of the winter but also saw LCV which seemed to ring a bell -- I dug out some of my past recovery data and found that LCV is indeed a Humber regular and at 11 years old a survivor -- I see another Lincs birder's name and my old colleague from Blacktoft Sands in the list as well!

Excellent set of sightings - particularly for LCV. I note that it seems to have become more elusive in recent years - perhaps a key to it's survival.

Saw the two collared Pink's today along with at least 1080 birds at Winterton Crossroads.

The Greenland White-fronted Goose seen today 1/2 mile west of the Rough-legged Buzzard site, The goose was with 1000+ Pink-footed Geese and One goose I am not sure about, it has a small amount of white around the base of the bill which had orange tones and the bird showed more white around back end than those present, comments welcome. Picture in Discussion Album.

Re the odd goose !

I've read the comments in the photo album. It seems to be a bird with plumage traits of pinkfoot and bill and leg colours good for bean.

See also Birding World Vol 23 No 3 April 2010 . Plate 10 also shows a 'fabalis' typw with white at base of bill

Close up of the bird shows different beak shape to pinkfeet and what I think is orange rather than pink tones.
Agree not a typical Pink-foot or typical Bean, perhaps a Hybrid.
