A male Lesser Spotted Woodpecker just inside Lincs at Deeping St James/Deeping Lakes. It was in the large willows on "Park Island" which is accessed by walking south along the track alongside the River Welland from Deeping St James. Loosely associating with tit flock. Grid ref TF172079. According to the OS map, the county boundary does a little deviation from the stream at this point to encompass Park Island. |
