Hi, A windy, but busy day bird wise; Waxwing - 4 in the hedgerow near the Visitor Centre all day Whooper swan - 14 Wet Grassland Bewick's swan - 2 Wet Grassland European white-fronted goose - 28 Wet Grassland Teal - 500 Scrapes Hen harrier - 1 Saltmarsh Peregrine - 1 Scrapes Lapwing - 1000 Wet Grassland Ruff - 3 Reedbed Short-eared owl - 1 Wet Grassland Kingfisher - 1 Reedbed Starling - 2000 Reedbed Twite - 40 Saltmarsh Lapland bunting - 6 Sea bank/Saltmarsh Cheers, John |
