Post subject:  Waxwings at RSPB Frampton Marsh 14/01/11

Hi,

There are currently three waxwings showing well at Frampton Marsh. They can be seen from the (lovely and warm) visitor centre, but they are best viewed from the road just to the landward side of the main car park.

now four waxwings...

plus 18 (European) white-fronted geese, 19 whooper swans, hen harrier and barn owl, peregrine and merlin on the wet grassland.

550 wigeon, 400 teal and 25 shoveler, 10 pintail on the scrapes
