Post subject:  SUTTON BRIDGE AND SPALDING

Short walk in the fog at Sutton Bridge River Nene (near Sir Peter Scott Lighthouse).

Barnacle goose
Snow goose (2 + 2 blue)
30 + Mallard
2 Oystercatcher
4 Blue Tit
6 Blackbird
Wood Pidgeons
2 Magpie
3 Redshank
1 Grey Plover
2 Shelduck
Cormorant
Chaffinch
Jay
Great tit
10+ Starlin
2 black headed gull

Can anyone tell me if the snow geese are wild or not as we can see no rings on them and they do not appear to have had wings clipped.

Spalding - Roman Bank Lock gates

5 Male and 1 female Goosander
Crows
2 x grey heron
20+ Mallard
3 Long tailed tits
Cormorant

There is a very good chance that the snow geese are feral birds, and not true wild birds....
