RBA Pager tonight reporting 1W Caspian Gull at Kirkby GP's - any info?

Metheringham railway crossing - just turning into dusk and a Kestrel hovering over road.
On return from Boston tonight, 1 Barn Owl hunting on side of road at Langrick Bridge. A mile further towards Coningsby another one hunting on a roadside ditch.

Yesterday afternoon near Leagate Inn, Coningsby - Buzzard hunting in field.

Cheers

I think I'm missing something vital here - GPC's post refers to the sighting but without any link/reference I am none the wiser: is there a photo somewhere? are there any details of when and where?? who is Stef???

Hi Rob,
I expect Graham is out and about so will respond on his behalf.
Stef McElwee is an excellent birder who used to live in North Lincs. but now
now lives much further north - I think in Northumberland. He is a teacher and returns
to his old home area during the holidays.
Stef is a keen photographer and sent GPC a picture of the Caspian Gull he had seen at Kirkby Pits
on Dec. 22nd; this is how Graham is able to comment on its appearance when responding to John's question.

Regards,
Roy
