A roadside flock of geese found by a visiting birder today included a few hundred pinkfeet, 34 brent with one pale-bellied, 13 barnacle and 40 white-fronts including a Greenland race bird. Kev |

The total number of Geese in the flock is closer to 2000 according to John Shaugnessey - I didn't count them. The Greenland Whitefront is a juv bird readily and most easily identifiable by it's orange bill but a sod to find!!There are juv Eurasian Whitefronts present as well. |
