A cold, wet and altogether dreary morning at Far Ings produced the following, other than hypothermia:

Ness Hide:

2 Marsh Harrier (one adult female quartering and a juvenile seen perched - visible from foreshore path)
1 Kestrel (passing over)
1 Kingfisher - passed Ness hide a number of times.
1 Bearded tit (very brief glimpse, others heard calling but not seen)
1 Grey Heron
52 Coots
2 Moorhen
8 Mallard
