A seawatch from 08:45 to 11:30 in a force 4 to 5 SE produced lots of duck movement, all south:-
21 Brent Geese
6 Shelduck
5 Gadwall
6 Pintail
3 Shoveler
117 Wigeon
c710 Teal
4 Pochard
7 Tufted Duck
5 drake Eider
6 Common Scoter
4 Goldeneye
16 Red-breasted Merganser, all females or 1st winters
2 Cormorants
1 Peregrine, seen twice over the sea harrying gulls & waders
1 Oystercatcher
2 Ringed Plovers
2 Grey Plovers
3 Lapwings in off
c30 Knot
c25 Sanderling
c40 Dunlin
1 Redshank
12 Bar-tailed Godwits
1 Woodcock in off
3 Snipe in off
3 Guillemots
1 Short-eared Owl in off
c30 Skylarks in off
c50 Starlings in off
