Good views of Cetti's Warbler early this morning. Heard calling in reeds to left of hide, I called back to it and it responded by coming up to the top of the reeds and calling back. Seen on and off for about 2 minutes before it moved back deep into the reeds. This bird has been present since 11th October but is only seen very occasionally, despite the hours I put in at this site this is the first time I have seen or heard it this year. |
