Are Swanpool & Boultham Mere good sites for Redpolls, then?

Not really, this was only my 3rd record of Lesser Redpoll on the patch this year.

The alders around the lake in Boultham park, off Rookery Lane, Lincoln, are a regular winter site for Lesser Redpolls and Siskins.
