A few windy hours there today, dull and heavy rain from 4pm, no owls seen  Nice to meet Hugh Middleton for the first time. Quietest I have seen Worlaby in recent times! Otherwise : 15 Waxwing over at 11.45am- heading Bonby way calling like mad! 1 Ringtail (only brief views) 2 Marsh Harrier 2 Sparrowhawk 6 Common Buzzard 5 Kestrel 2 Pied Wagtail 2 Goldcrest 3 Grey Heron 1 Stonechat (f) 9 Cormorant over c20 Linnet Mandy |

Nice to meet you too Mandy. Lovely views of Marsh Harriers also Stonechat. No owls for me either! Had to leave before 4 for an evening appointment. Took an hour and a half to cover the 40 miles home! Hugh |
