Post subject:  Louth peregrine update

A monthly update of the number of days peregrine present on St.James, Louth.

Was told that there were 3 peregrines present yesterday, which I doubted, However I have just seen 3 on St James at 17.15. 2 together on spire and one on far side of tower. Amazing!

August: male 15 days + pair 1 day.
September: male 17 days (calling most days) + pair 2 days.
October: male 16 days (calling most days) + pair 9 days (performing spectacular display flights with raucous calling by both).

November report at end of month. Note, the birds may have been present more frequently, but not recorded by us.
