Miserable weather, especially with no waterproofs but still managed to see the following from Wader Hide before getting a good soaking.

1 Whooper Swan (certainly the 1st i've seen on the reserve so far this autumn)
5 Mute Swan
c300+ Greylag Geese
2 Canada Geese
1 Shelduck
5 Gadwall
7 Teal
2 Shoveler
5 Mallard
8 Snipe
c50 Black Headed Gull
1 Lesser Black Backed Gull
Moorhen 10
Coot 11

On the way around:

1 Jay
2 Bullfinch
3 Siskin
1 Linnet
2 Treecreeper
2 Wren (plenty more to be heard)
Larger mixed flock including Blue Tit, Great Tit, Coal Tit and Long Tailed Tit
