rough legged buzzard sat in the field eating having killed what looked like wood pigeon, watched for 30 mins till it flew approx 50yds to the copse north west of the pumphouse where it sat preening till i left in the most easterly small dead tree in the copse. rob was down the dyke, tried to leave him a message but my pen ran out sorry rob,
also merlin :D :D

rob looked for you but couldnt even see your hide, rough leg sat a mere 50 yds from the main track as you turn the corner near the turkey farm halfway between the turning and the hay bales and when it flew to the copse by the corner turning, you could only see the bird when perched by being closer towards the hay bales then looking back towards the turkey farm, you wouldnt have seen the bird when travelling to the pumping station only when coming away. it was only because i saw it fly there that i knew it was there, very easy to miss, my first rough leg in the 4.5 years i have lived in lincs. we have had lots and lots of buzzards this year at the haven, hope it continues in the years to come and i am still around to view the wonders of our wildlife :D :D

Pleased you saw it after all this time of it being around .
Oh and pleased you did not see me - your not supose to see me Nither are the birds :)
