Someone said it was still there this morning (East bank side) when I went to see the Grey Phalarope that Alex P and John S found at Covenham on the West side - thanks for the news being put out. Some images to go on my blog. I also had a nice view of a Grey Wagtail being chased by a Pied Wagtail. |

When I left about 16:00 the long tailed duck was right in the corner by the tower The phalarope was on the same side as the yacht club 9west) about 600 yards down the side. It was so close you could have stroked it Also present one female goldeneye and a flyover pink foot - both my first of the winter |

The L.t-Duck was still here this afternoon with circa 10 Goldeneye, elusive,seen from south side in SW corner also 1 juv Whooper Swan. |
