Highlights from the past 2 days
Ring Ouzel x2 (9th) Wheatear x2 Brambling and Goldcrests everywhere, both in triple figures Siskin x60 Merlin x2 Peregrine Falcon x1 Kestrel x1 Sparrowhawk x1 Bearded Tit x3 (in front of tennysons pinging) (9th) Curlew Sandpiper x1 (with a single dunlin) (9th) Pink-footed Goose x90 Brent Goose x80 Avocet x2 Swallow x20 (South) Gannet x31 (North) Little Egret x15 Greenshank x11 Kingfisher x1 White Wagtail x1 (on tennysons late Friday evening with a half dozen pieds)
Huge numbers of thrushes Redwings, Mistle Thrushes and Song Thrushes moving through constantly. No sign of any Fieldfares yet.
