A quiet start but an obvious arrival during the day.
HIghlights below
Yellow-browed warbler 1 Shovelers Pool
Chiffchaff 15
willow warbler
blackcap 15
Firecrest 2 (1 trapped)
Hawfinch 2 (one at the north end of the west dunes first thing and a second bird arrived with 60 redwing near the Obs later)
Brambling 120 (including one flock off 55 dropping in)
Redpoll 30
Siskin 25
Lap bunting 3
Black Redstart
Redstart 3
Pied flycatcher
Tree Pipit
Rock Pipit 20
Meadow pipit 120
Knot 55000
Water rail
Swallow 15
Wheatear 2
Redwing 260
song thrush 40
Kingfisher
Great spotted woodpecker 3
Arctic tern
Merlin 2
Sparrowhawk 4

Also for yesterday…2 bearded tit on the Mere and a Mandarin Duck on Mill Pond.

nice to see you again sorry i left my list on the office table on friday to put on the bird site at night i as i was trying to find the red necked glebe what was reported by the r s p b group from cheshire down for the day . i see tim he did knot find it as well . i see the same group at donna hook to day i told them we did not find it .half the people sayed it was there the other was still undesd so i leaved at that . i see a list is on the bird site whats down at gib point . better luck next time john lusby
