Post subject:  Woodhall falcons etc.

Today 3 falcon spp. in 20 mins, from my garden in Woodhall Spa.

12.25 p.m. Hobby flying westwards
12.35 p.m. Kestrel hovering overhead
12.45 p.m. Peregrine soaring above

Also my first Siskins of the autumn here, 5 flew over.
All while turning the compost!

06/010/10 Chiffchaff and Blackcap in the garden.
05/10/10 Early morning, 07.30, passage of House martins, about a dozen heading southwards.

you may well have a few more spp in the next day or two John, there is a Falconers convention in the area this week.
We've got a couple of Goshawks staying at the holiday cottage!
