Managed to get a few hours birding into family trip to Mablethorpe North End area for weekend

Sat 2 Oct 2010
Barred Warbler 1 imm feeding on elder berries in company of blackcaps, @07.25.
Swift 1 S @09.45
Osprey 1 S @10.40
Hen harrier ringtail S @07.15
Good numbers of song thrushes in buckthorn scrub, at least 85 noted.

Blackcap 3
Chiffchaff 25 (including 2 in song)
Willow warbler 3 (including 1 in song)
Swallow 30
Brent Goose 2 N
Pink-footed Goose 120 S @15.45

Snipe 2 in off sea
sanderling 50
sandwich tern 2

Very little about compared to previous day
Only additional species was 1 Yellow wagtail
