Had another unusual sighting directly over my home this afternoon at around 25 feet high.

2 Sparrowhawks were scouting for prey within 10 feet of each other in between the rain showers.

These birds looked to be of similar size, possibly 2 males?

Yesterday afternoon at Swanpool I had a male Sparrowhawk chasing a very vociferous Green Woodpecker. The Green Woodpecker managed to escape capture but was clearly very annoyed.
