After spending some time in the vicinity of the car park at Messinghamand then the hide hoping for a view of the Osprey to no avail I decided to head for home> down the path a few hundred yards and bumped into some people on a fungus foray
The Lincolnshire Trust guy asked if I had seen the Osprey to which I answered no. It's there he told me pointing over the factory on the Messingham Road. 15 seconds later and it had disappeared
About 26 snipe and 1 redshank were the only other birds of note on a cold blustery day
