A chiffchaff singing in my garden persuaded me to do a quick pre-work look around:- Rippingale 0630 -0715 60 Swallows on telephone wires 2 House Martins 1 Chiffchaff 5 Meadow Pipits Dunsby STW 0720 -0810 12+ Robins 2 Spotted Flycatchers 5 Chiffchaffs 1 Willow Warbler 1 fem grey Wagtail 30+ House Martins Ian |

At least 4 Spotted Flycatchers this afternoon at Dunsby STW, still waiting for the first Pied Flycatcher. One Hobby flying over. Hugh Dorrington |

7.30 am 5 Chiffchaffs 7 House Martins 1 Grey Wagtail No other migrants... Dunsby Fen 12.30 -13.15 1 Peregrine 3 Common Buzzards 150 Lapwings 250 Starlings 35 Linnets 7 Swallows 5 Meadow Pipits plus the usual. Ian |
