Fairly quiet on the patch this morning:- No sign of female Garganey but most of the Gadwall, Shoveler & Teal were at the east end into the light. 2 Wigeon. 1 Tufted Duck. 1 Water Rail. 5 Swifts through S. Flock of c15 Swallows & House Martins (pair of Swallows still feeding young in nest under bridge on Catchwater drain). 3 Meadow Pipits on tip. 2 juv Yellow Wagtails in cow field. 1 Treecreeper heard. |
