Barry Clarkson phoned me this morning to say he'd found a Red breasted Flycatcher in the elders on the old sea bank next to my garden at Stonebridge Cottage North. Needless to say by the time I got there on my bike at 2 looking for a green tick it had gone but several other birders saw it. There were lots of flycatchers around between Stonebridge and Pyes, up to 10 Spotted Flys, 5 Pied Flys, 5 Redstart, 3 Whinchats and 2 Firecrests showing well in the west hedge at Pyes.

Also flushed a Quail on my bike on the bridleway next to the windfarm at Conisholme, which was a green tick!

Had 9 Wheatears - 7 were sat together on one large piece of driftwood.
1 Whinchat
3 Redstarts, including a cracking male, sat on a fence.
2 Spotted Flycatchers
1 Garden Warbler
1 female Peregrine on the beach

Went in a vain search for the Firecrests tonight but was pleasently surprised to see so many flycatchers.

4 Common Redstart
1 Garden Warbler
6+ Pied Flycatchers
8+ Spotted Flycatchers
1 Kingfisher
4 Willow Warblers

Probably missed loads of others
