Watched Osprey take fish from nearby pond, great views as it flew past with fish onto the dead tree,
Marsh Harrier,C buzzard,
to my mind an Osprey taking a fish and flying past you with it is the best birding can get.
brilliant,
Rog .

Arrived about three PM at the usual spot and found Rog there. He told us there there was no sign of the Osprey. The farmers had been gathering in the crops so maybe thats why the bird has moved.

We stayed till five-ish.

Birds seen are:

Buzzard - 6
Marsh Harrier - 1
Sprawk - 2
Kestrel - 3
Yellow Wag - 1
Moorhen - 1

Regards

John, Dave and Roger

PS: Belated birthday wishes to Rog.

hi chris,
from east butterwick head south for roughly a mile and you will see it clearly marked black bank,a left hand turning, turn right-not recommended!!.
Thanks john for mentioning my birthday,27 0n the 27th,what a co-incidence this time,
Rog.
