Highlights: 22 Greenshank on the reservoir, which has a fair amount of water now. Several Willow Warber in nearby bushes. 1 Wheatear 1 adult Little Owl on post just inland of the set aside bank near the prison. The first I have seen at Freiston. Female Sparrowhawk being mobbed by numerous Linnet and Goldfinch. Several Whitethroat and Reed Bunting nearby. 1000 Black-tailed Godwit on marsh. Plenty of Dunlin Knot Turnstone Ringed Plover and Redshank on the lagoon at high tide. Jonathan |
