Spoonbill just 1 flying over the Mere early morning - no time to check the Steeping. Non on on Jacksons Marsh

knot c 30000
grey plover 300
sandwich tern 6
gannet 2
fulmar 1
chiffchaff & willow warbler lots
whitethroat 2
lesser whitethroat 2
common sandpiper 1 (beach)
hobby
greenshank 30 on the freshwater lagoon
wheatear 1 on the beach (greenshank creek) at high tide
whinchat 6 (thanks to Ed Mackrill - I had walked past them twice)
great spotted woodpecker 1 perhaps 2
missed spotted & pied flycatcher

The Spoonbills are still around - they have been spending mornings on the lagoons and then going out onto the Saltmarsh where they are viewable from the Wash Viewpoint.
