Post subject:  Pye's Hall. Greater Black Backed Gulls

There was a steady W-E passage of 8-12 birds per flock this morning coming from the direction of the Wolds and flying over Grainthorpe marsh. They were made up of juvs and either tatty adults or else 2nd year birds but I'm no expert on plumages like this.
Just interesting as it wasn't happening a week ago.
