Last night I walked along the river bank to view the pit in the rain and gloom. I was comfortable with:
11 x Shovelers, 90+Teal,3 x Greenshank,4 x Common Snipe, 3 x Green Sands, 3 x Common Sands, 1 x Redshank,1 x (f) Kestrel.

Not so comfortable with:
Among 20+ Lesser Black Back Gulls,2 x possible Yellow Legged Gulls - they had lighter backs than the LBBG's and yellow legs but I didnt think they were as light as Herring Gulls...
Also 6 x unidentified waders - I think these were Ruffs but not sure. They were grouped together and had a warm buff look to their chest and breast.
Can anybody help with my ID?

Thanks
Matthew.

Hi Matthrew

I think you are 100% correct. There have been 6-7 Ruff at Bardney most nights this week, Also within the hordes of LBBG up to 3 Yellow legged Gulls.

On Wednesday night also Peregrine on the factory and a Hobby over Bardney village.
