Parked in village thinking car park would be full,got down on flats at 13,45 to find one man there-Roy Harvey.more did arrive later,(not more Roy Harveys!!!), Great views of the bird sometimes really close,with some Dunlins and ringed Plovers,did turn rather windy thou...Peregrine attacking waders not far away at one point, At approx 14.45 the group flew of north,i left at 16.25. At last!i caught up with the Semi-p today albeit distant and also saw the following: 2 Hobby 2 Peregrine 1 Wood Sandpiper 2 juv. Whinchat 2 Common Buzzard 18 Ruff 6 Ruddy Shelduck 1 Green Sandpiper 1 Merlin 1 juv. Little-ringed Plover 3 Whimbrel Regards Steve. |
