A lovely sunny and warm afternoon at Donna Nook Quad 3 today.
Quite a nice selection of birds to be seen:-

Lesser Whitethroat - 6 min.
Whitethroat - 3 min.
Chiffchaff - 1
Willow Warbler - 2
Blackcap - 1 of each sex
Redstart - 1 female
Whinchat - 2
Greenshank - 7
Green Sandpiper - 3
Teal - 14

We were disappointed not to have seen the Icterine Warbler at Seaview Farm

Hi James,

We didn't go out onto the beach - hence the shortage of waders. The Greenshanks and Green Sands. were on the lagoons by the bank.

The icterine showed for about 5 minutes very active feeding at c1715 hrs
in the large sycamore and poplar near the workbase Seaview,
a kingfisher at the haven (paradise), and 1 redstart 2 wheatear and 1 whinchat Churchill Lane area early morning. regards John.
